Thing #12 Google Tools

I checked out Google Alerts, Google Calendar, Google Notebook, and Picasa Web Albums. I signed up for Google Alerts, Google Calendar, and Google Notebook ; however, I did not make my calendar public as the instructions indicated. Google has many useful tools. I actually have a co-worker who used the Google Calendar last year to post assignments on. Google Alerts is good if you are focusing on news from a specific area, and Google Notebook is perfect for whn you are on your conference period, searching the internet, and need someplace to dump what you have collected. I wasn't really interested in Picasa Web Albums since I have maintained a Webshots account for about 8 years.
