Thing #1 Lifelong Learner

I consider myself a lifelong learner. I am always seeking out new things to learn through internet research, reading, trial and error, dvds, or a thousand questions. I am open to suggestions and welcome new ideas from colleagues. I opted to take this class not only because I will be "layed up" this summer but also because it is a challenge for me. I hope to learn new technology things that I can incorporate into my classroom. I am new to blogging, and to be honest with you, I am halfway scared of it. With that in mind, my goal is to conquer blogging and become proficient at it. Last school year several of my high school students asked me if I had a blog or something posted on My Space. I told them "no." I didn't want to tell them that I didn't have a clue about blogging! This next school year I can honestly say I do have a blog, and I had fun learning how to do it!
