Thing #21 Animoto

I have tried ALL DAY long to get his Animoto thing going. It was easy signing up for it. Logging in has been a different story. It has NOT let me log in. I thought maybe I hadn't typed the correct password in; so, I asked them to send me a password reminder. Whenever they sent me the email, they sent me a new password, and also included in the email was a link to click on to take me to the sign-in page. Animoto had generated the link, so that when I clicked on it, it showed my login name and password (encrypted). Whenever I clicked on the signin button, it still would not let me in. If I can't get logged in with the information that Animoto sent to me, then I don't know what else to do.

It states in their help files that Animoto operates best utilizing Firefox, but it also said that it would work with Internet Explorer. Animoto didn't think very highly, however, of Internet Explorer.

I will continue to try to get Animoto to cooperate, but if it doesn't, I hope it won't be held aganst me.

Very impressive that you are so far along. I need to get with it. If you're having problems with this one, I'm sure I will.

Thank you! I've had all the time in the world to work on it since I'm in a cast and have to keep my leg propped up.

Thanks for the info. about problems when using Internet Explorer. I think I will skip this one until I return home to my computer and use Firefox. Gigi
P.S. How's your leg?

You're welcome! Thanks for asking about my leg. I went today and got the stitches out of my toe and the staples out of my ankle; but, the pin in my toe has to stay in there for 2 more weeks. If I'm lucky, I will get the cast off and a boot put on less than one week before inservice training starts!

I'm not sure what the problem might be. I use Internet Explorer on my pc. I have created videos before and havn'et had any trouble, but it could be your version of IE. I'm on version 7. Ithink it's the latest version.

I have version 7 of IE, too. I think the problem was with ANIMOTO. Whenever they sent me the link to click on so I could change my password, THAT wouldn't even work or log me in.

I had trouble too. It took me forever, but I finally figured out a way. I exported mine to You Tube. On the side bar, there is a embed link. I copied the link and put it in my blog and it worked. That is the only way I could get mine to work. I hope this helps.
